For immediate medical needs, we aim to accommodate our established patients with the same or next day office visits. We will address all most common acute problems such as minor injuries, infections, and other acute illnesses.
Working together, patient and doctor, we can minimize the impact of chronic illness and sometimes turn things around. I treat the usual full range of chronic conditions, including mental health problems. I do not prescribe addictive substances for chronic pain or anxiety, except in hospice and active cancer treatment. I will work with the patient interested in tapering off those medications and I do treat addictions. I avoid prescribing controlled substances in general, due to their risk of harm. I see patients in person and for my established patients also offer telemedicine.
A true prevention is inseparable from each person's lifestyle. Diet, exercise, and the approach to stresses of life, play a major role in optimizing current and future health.
